by far the best sushi rolls you can have in Bakersfield and even one of the best in all of CA. Been eating here for 10+ years and it’s still criminally underrated. Best baked green mussels you will have anywhere. My favs are the titanic and Red Bull rolls. The mochi ice cream is no longer on the menu but also was some of the best anywhere. There’s hardly ever a wait and the lunch deals are clutch.

This place is the worst sushi place I've ever been to. The waitress was very nice, but she was a little strange that wasn't the problem though. The waitress came and asked for our drinks and my son was ready to order his food. My son told her im ready to order my food and she said "well im taking your drinks right now not food. I will get your food when I come back with the drinks." My son was ready to eat so that was off putting. I ordered a rainbow roll my son got a california roll. We were the only people in there it took 35 minutes for our food to be made. Im almost 100% positive the cook went back in the kitchen and thawed out my fish that was on my rainbow roll because it tasted super fishy i didnt even eat it. On top of that he covered it in spicy mayo. My wife and I order Sapporo and we both ended up with a very strange soapy taste on the tip of our tongues that would not go away no matter what we did. The bathroom sink was broken and sprayed all over my wife. This place needs a food safety check. The worst sushi spot I've ever been to. We paid left and went down the street to Bocados and that place was amazing!!!.

This place is a good choice if you're visiting near stores, just like me. Even though I live far, it's still a good option. I got my kids a teriyaki bowl, and they devoured it all! We also got a California roll, which was okay, but the yakisoba was awesome. I wasn't crazy about the pork ramen, but it was still good. The service is fantastic. Our server was super nice and kept checking on us. The food comes out fast. The place is clean, and the music is nice. They even have outdoor seating.

Just off the beaten path of coffee road is this humble and quaint sushi restaurant. The inside is very clean and well kept. The only reason I gave it three stars, is because it seemed as though the designer could not decide between a Victorian chandelier-esque vibe and industrial. It doesn't really take away from the experience though . With blacked out windows, The feel inside the restaurant is very intimate. I almost forgot that it was broad daylight when I ate there. The sushi is on point here. Very well prepared and the presentation was nice. The waitress was very friendly. The sushi chef as well. The price is on the moderate high side for their specialty rolls. However, if you're in for a quick California roll or something basic like that, at just under $7 a roll, the price can't be beat for the quality. I will be going here again. And, anybody who enjoys sushi should as well.
